Ages 2.5 to 6 · Monday through Friday, 9am to 12pm · Part-time or full week.

Kids Ranch is play-based and child-centered. Small children learn with their hands and their whole bodies, so the morning is built around exploration, making things, and time with each other rather than around a curriculum binder.
Letters, numbers, safety scissors, and taking turns all get learned here, but they are learned by doing: counting the snack cups, writing a name on a painting, waiting for a turn on the slide. No worksheets, and no sitting still for longer than a small child should.

Kindergarten readiness
What children take with them when they leave for kindergarten.
Outdoor time
The backyard is large, fully fenced, and has both grass and shade, with age-appropriate equipment for the whole 2.5 to 6 range. Children go outside every day the weather allows, usually 30 to 60 minutes, because a morning without running is a hard morning for everyone.
Getting started
Come for a tour first. Twenty minutes during a morning tells you more than anything we could write here.
Part-time and full week are both available, all within the 9am to 12pm morning. Part-time families usually pick two or three set days so the group stays familiar.
If it feels right, we'll go through the paperwork together and answer whatever is still open.
